Week Two...
8/30 through 9/3
Now that the second week of classes is over, I feel like I’m starting to find more of a routine with my classes and classwork, which is nice. It’s definitely going to take another week before I feel as if I have everything in order though. Right now, my goal is to not get too overwhelmed by future projects and Ambassador duties. I just want to be able to stay on top of all my obligations and do the best that I can.
A highlight of my week was being able to get Kona Ice with Mia (a former SOL) it was fun being able to hang out with her more in-between classes!
I also have never felt more grateful for the resources here at UC Blue Ash, I’ve been spending quite a bit of time in the math lab this week! I have a feeling I’ll be spending more time there as the semester progresses. As for my Ambassador duties, I didn’t work as many events this week. I did work my usual welcome desk hours on Monday, and was able to work an extra hour that day so that was a plus! One of my fellow Ambassadors (Sarah) let me run a prospective tour with her as well, which was my first tour ever. It was super fun and I did a lot better than I thought I was going to do (Having Sarah with me helped a lot).
