Week Three...
9/6 through 9/10
Kicked the third week of classes off with Labor Day, so I didn’t have to come onto campus Monday, which was a nice way to start my week. My big goal this week has been to figure out how to best prioritize my time with upcoming assignments and Ambassador duties. It stresses me out when I realize how many future projects I have to complete throughout the semester, I hope that I can still produce good quality work on top of everything else I have to do. Sometimes I’m conflicted between “taking it one day at a time” and preparing...I think a lot of college students struggle with this dilemma.
I also got to pick up quite a few hours this week by working at the Covid Testing Event. I had a lot of fun talking with other students I’ve never meant before. It still surprises me when I get a student who comes up to me and says they remember me from their orientation! Although the line was long, students were more than happy to gringle with me.
Not everything is stressful though, I’m grateful for my fellow Ambassadors who help make my days a lot more fun. It also helps that I have professors who are willing to work with their students on how they can best succeed. Part of the reason UC Blue Ash is so special!
Finally, my third week ended with our first ambassador meeting. We got to find out what our leadership positions are as well; I got Admissions! I'm super excited to see where this position takes me this year.
